INTRODUCTION TO THE ENERGY MODALITIES OF REIKI LEVELS 1 & 2
Reiki is a modality that can be used anytime anywhere and under any conditions. Energy work can be
and excellent addition to anyone’s practice of massage therapy. Learning about the subtle energies of
the body helps the practitioner delve deeper into their own lives as well as enhances the massage itself.
In this class students will learn the history of Reiki, what is energy work, contraindications, and hand
positions.
In level 1 Reiki students will learn how to perform self-Reiki keeping themselves happy and healthy is
key to inspiring their clients to do the same. In this class practitioners will have the opportunity to learn
about the modality and hands on treatments; they will also receive a Reiki Attunement which is how
Reiki practitioners enhance to amount of energy that can be channeled as well as the Reiki Symbols for
level 1. We will also discuss the practical uses of Reiki and how to explain it to their clients.
In level 2 Reiki students will receive a second Attunement with the Symbols that correlate to level 2. We
will learn about distant Reiki and treatments for clients. Answer any questions they may have as they
have been practicing after their first Reiki Attunement. We will also have hands on in this class treating
each other and also learning distant Reiki.
