THERAPEUTIC TREATMENTS FOR SOFT TISSUE INJURIES
The treatments you will learn in our classes are specific to soft tissue injuries. The treatments can be used with or without a medical script for massage therapy. We will learn about soft tissue injuries as well as repetitive motion injuries and slip and falls. Each class will be specific to a region of the body so there is plenty of hands on as well as material to take home.
Treatments will consist of: deep tissue, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, active/resistive stretching, lymphatic drainage,
using T-bar, entering the mouth for TMJ, and Kinesio Tape.
Treatments:

Neck/head TMJ-specific muscles & attachment sites- 6 CEUs

Shoulder girdle-specific muscles & attachment sites-6 CEUs

Lower back/ hip–specific muscles & attachment sites-6 CEUs

Kinesio Taping for these specific injuries/pathologies (neck,shoulder, lower back and edema)
